Black Flag estableció las bases de lo que sería el punk y hardcore estadounidense, siendo pioneros de la filosofía DIY (Do it yourself / hazlo tú mismo). Greg Ginn, fundador de la banda en 1976 ha continuado desde entonces como compositor y guitarrista, ha sido considerado como uno de los 100 mejores guitarristas del planeta por la revista Rolling Stone; también es activista vegano.

En la alineación actual lo acompañan como vocalista, Mike Vallely (Mike V), skater profesional reconocido en todo el mundo y dueño de la marca “Street Plant” de skateboards. Mike V se convirtió en el quinto vocalista de la banda desde 2014, también lo acompañan el baterista Brandon Pertzborn, quien ha tenido colaboraciones en bandas como Suicidal Tendencies y Doyle, además del bajista Tyler Smith.
Muchos músicos en todo el mundo han sido influenciados por esta gran banda, como Frank Turner (Million Dead), Dave Chander (Saint Vitus), Flea y John Frusciante (RHCP), Max Cavalera (Cavalera Conspiracy), Oliver Sykes (Bring Me the Horizon), etc, la lista es interminable; no podemos omitir el paso de Henry Rollings, quien estuvo activo como vocalista de 1981 a 1986.
Esta banda icónica y multigeneracional del movimiento punk y hardcore mundial, se presentará por primera vez en la Ciudad de México.
